Magister Biomedical Sciences

HISTORY

Biomedical Science Master Study Program was established in 1999 by Decision Letter of Director General of Higher Education of Department of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 247/DIKTI/Kep/1999, date 24 May 1999. It has been 16 years since it is demanded to produce graduates whose good competencies and to improve quality of the implementation of education and health services. Until now, Biomedical Science has 3 scientific disciplines, i.e.:

1. Reproduction Medicine
2. Anti-Aging Medicine
3. Basic Medicine

According to Decision Letter of LAM-PTKes Number : 0293/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Mag/VI/2019 Date 29 June 2019, the Accreditation of Biomedical Science Study Program is B.  It is valid until  29 June 2024.

Vision

"Realizing Graduates of the Masters Biomedical Sciences Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University who are excellent, self-reliance, and culture-oriented, with National, Regional and Global Competitiveness in 2025 in the use of Natural Ingredients to Support Travel Health"
 
Mission

To realize the vision above, the Biomedical Masters Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University has the following mission:

1. Organizing quality Master of Biomedical science education based on the national standards of higher education.
2. Organizing strategic research relevant to the development of concentrations of anti-aging medicine,          reproductive medicine and basic medical science  in used of natural compound that support Travel Health.
3. Organizing community service according to science and technology competencies and cultural values.
4. Organizing cooperation with various parties both at home and abroad, to strengthen and improve the quality of education, research and scientific publications.
